Vietnamese For Foreigners

The book "Vietnamese for foreigners - Vietnamese for foreigners" was born as a result of the author's experiences and experiments in the process of teaching Vietnamese to foreigners for nearly 30 years, at the same time intentionally absorbing the achievements of other Vietnamese and foreign authors in the US, France, Japan, Australia...

The book begins with an overview of Vietnamese pronunciation and writing. In this part, the author only introduces the special features of Vietnamese phonetics, contours, pitch, length of tones, pronunciation of some difficult vowels, consonants, syllable structure... The author skims over the points in pronunciation that are similar or not much different between Vietnamese and English. The next part is 40 lessons distributed based on common communication topics in modern Vietnamese society, while expanding to other necessary forms of language.
