I Engaged in Intelligence Work

The enemy was totally taken out of the blue. By the day I left Sai Gon, they still had not known that the people, my comrades, and the members in my intelligence network confidently carried out duties right in front of their eyes, and inflicted great losses upon them. My comrades acted mroe and more effectively until the day of the entire victory in the spring of 1975. All of them had been promoted to the rank of officer of the Vietnamese People's Army. Their happiness is also mine, and is closely linked with the joy over the liberation of the South. It's also my boundless happiness after more than thirty years engaging in intelligence and working under the enemy's grip to successfully complete the honorable tasks entrusted by the Party and the people.
